Open Gardens Weekend
The ever popular Open Gardens Weekend will be held on 19th and 20th July 2008 with gardens open from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. each day.
Programmes and more details will be available nearer the date.

Community Roots Exhibition
Following our entry into the Britain in Bloom finals we have been advised by the competition organizers that the theme they have set for this year is "Community Roots".
We will be celebrating Filby's history and people using this theme to reflect the changing face of our community over time.
The exhibition will be held on 19th and 20th July in the Church Hall, Church Lane from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. each day.

Community Roots Flower Festival
A Flower Festival also on the theme of 'Community Roots' on 19th and 20th July 2008 in the church which will be open from from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. each day.

Anglia in Bloom Judging
The judging for Anglia in Bloom will take place in July.
Britain in Bloom Judging
The judging for Britain in Bloom will take place in August. I understand that the village will also be visited, unannounced, by Britain in Bloom judges sometime in March.
Community Roots Exhibition 2
A second exhibition will be held over the August Bank Holiday weekend in the Club Room, Main Road from 10:00 a.m. each day.
